[Urabandai in Autumn] Ballerinas Dance among the Autumn Colors

In the third of the series in which people dance the four seasons of Fukushima, autumn colors have been combined with ballet!
Ballerinas from Hitomi Takeuchi Ballet Company & School, which has churned out numerous ballet dancers who have gone on to pursue successful careers domestically and internationally, will dance to a backdrop of beautiful autumn colors in Urabandai!

[The Performers]
Kanomata Yoko
 1992: Joined Takeuchi Hitomi Ballet Company & School
 2005: Studied abroad in Canada with Pacific DanceArts
 2007: Joined Atlanta Ballet in the U.S.
 2008: 2nd in the Japan Ballet Competition organized by the Japan Ballet Association, 1st in the Ballet Competition in Sendai
She is currently involved in a variety of works at Hitomi Takeuchi Ballet Company & School, including not only classic ballet, but also contemporary performances.

Sugiura Mami
 Belongs toTakeuchi  Hitomi Ballet Company & School
 3rd in the Tohoku Ballet Competition organized by the Japan Ballet Association
 2015: 1st in the NBA Sendai Junior Ballet Competition
 Studied abroad for a short term at the Australian Ballet School
 2015: Finalist in the Japan Ballet Competition organized by the Japan Ballet Association

Genuine classic ballet is taught to people of all ages from children to adults at Takeuchi Hitomi Ballet Company & School, which opened in 1967. It owns three studios in Fukushima, and many of its students have achieved success in prestigious competitions domestically and internationally. The school also has a history of churning out numerous dancers who have gone on to study ballet or joined ballet companies abroad.

[About the Filming Location]
Morohashi Museum of Modern Art

This art museum is located in the wilderness of Urabandai, near Goshiki-numa. It is one of the most prominent Dali art museums of the world with a collection of around 340 Salvador Dali paintings. The art museum itself is very beautiful, allowing visitors to enjoy not only the paintings, but also the scenery.

This is one of the most famous sightseeing spots in Urabandai, and it is the name for a collection of 40 or so lakes and ponds, big and small, formed by a volcanic eruption. They are of a variety of colors due to the minerals that were deposited in the eruption. The Bishamon-numa, which appears in the movie, is characterized by its emerald-green waters, and it is visited by numerous tourists.

Lake Hibara

This is the biggest lake in Urabandai. Visitors can drive all the way around the lake.
Other than the sightseeing boat that appears in the movie, visitors can enjoy camping, trekking, fishing, and pond smelt fishing, among a variety of other leisure activities. The lake is at the heart of tourism in Urabandai.

Lake Onogawa

This is one of the three main lakes of Urabandai, along with Lakes Hibara and Akimoto.
The water of Lake Onogawa, which flows from Onogawa Fudo Falls, is bright blue, making the surface of the lake twinkle and shine in the morning and evening light.

Visitors can enjoy dynamic close-up views of the water tumbling more than 20 m down the waterfall, as it flows from Onogawa Springs, chosen as one of the 100 most delicious waters of Japan. The road stretching from Onogawa Springs to the waterfall is surrounded by a magnificent beech forest, making it a popular trekking course.
