I am lucky enough to say that I live in Fukushima.
Fukushima does not have the best reputation abroad. But as I live here, I can tell you categorically and emphatically that Fukushima is not only a safe place to live, but a wonderful place to live. Fukushima is steeped in culture and history, such as the wonderful historic town of Aizu Wakamatsu. The nature in Fukushima is also stunning, which famous beauty spots such as Goshikinuma, or the five colours lakes. I’ve also found the people to be very friendly and welcoming.
Fukushima is not just surviving. It’s thriving.
