To the people of Fukushima-
Yours is truly a beautiful country. I found the temples, rice fields, mountains and streams stunning. I hope you appreciate the natural beauty of the land in which you live. Its people are also kind, generous, and most of all, hard working. I saw the efforts being made to bring Fukushima back from the destruction it faced in the earthquake and am moved by the perseverance of the residents of Fukushima prefecture. Whether it be screening of food for safety, development of renewable resources such as solar and geothermal, or even supporting local farmers, I can see that Fukushima has recovered spectacularly. Keep up the good work!
