Dear friends,
When I found out I was assigned to work in Iwaki, my family and friends were quite concerned for my wellbeing living in Fukushima. Recently, I had opportunities to visit the affected areas in Fukushima and talk to the locals about their experiences since 3/11/2013. I was deeply inspired by each individual I met, who are making their own efforts to contribute to the revival of Fukushima and a better future for the children. I was most relieved to see raw data documents that included continuous radiation level decrease and effective decontamination results. They are certainly the reflection of the people’s efforts and their good hearts, which makes Fukushima something very special. I hope you too can visit Fukushima and soak in its richness of the heart!
