Only three and a half years have passed since the Great East Japan Earthquake, but Fukushima is steadily recovering. Public recovery housing is being designed based on the opinions and feelings of those still living in temporary housing. Onahama Port has recovered to the point where it is hard to tell that a disaster even occurred. I believe the system behind such a swift recovery should be taught to other countries.

Fukushima is still in the middle of its recovery, but through projects including building a top-level renewable energy research institute, and promoting the local medical industry it is working towards building a positive name for itself throughout the world.
