Fukushima is doing its best. I’m always moved by the hardworking people here. In China there is a saying ‘There is strength in Unity’. I think if people band together with confidence, things will surely get better. If people throughout the world can see how lively Fukushima is, I think that they would want to come to Fukushima themselves, just like I did. I know the road to recovery is not an easy one, but I believe a time will come when the days full of hardship are over, and peaceful days will return. There is a bright future waiting ahead. The recovery work the people here are putting all their energy into has already produced many results. The people living in Fukushima, both locals and foreigners alike, are living happy, worry free lives here in Fukushima. It is my hope that Fukushima is able to recover from the influence of the disaster and realize its goals for recovery as fast as possible.
