Hi everyone, I came to Fukushima for the first time last year. Fukushima is a wonderful place. I’ve lived in Shirakawa for a year now, and over that time, I’ve met so many lovely people. I enjoy every day life here spending time with those people. Even though they have had a tough experience, the people here are so kind. I certainly do not regret coming to Fukushima. My students’ smiles are a great source of encouragement. The people in Fukushima have faced a difficult time.  This year I traveled to various locations around the prefecture, and learned about the disaster. I want to tell people about positive news concerning Fukushima. Let’s all do our best together.
