Fukushima is blessed with a comfortable climate and beautiful nature. Also, Fukushima is known for its agricultural industry, its peaches being particularly famous. The Hamadoori Region is known for its marine products industry, and there is an abundance of marine life in the area. Perhaps the wonderful climate, geography and environment are what bought the people of Fukushima up to be diligent and take such a positive stance on life. Furthermore, there are many events representative of traditional culture in Fukushima Prefecture. There are many rare festivals, with their own regional characteristics, and local foods which one should try out if presented with the opportunity to do so.
