Through participating in the 2 day study tour, I was able to experience the strong spirit of Fukushima first hand. The people of Fukushima did not let the disaster overwhelm them. In fact, it drove them to strive harder than ever before, putting their upmost efforts into recovery projects. We will never give up on Fukushima’s recovery. For those of you in Fukushima working hard towards recovery, know that you will always have our support. My experiences in Fukushima, including the unforgettable scenery, have become precious memories that I will treasure for the rest of my life. Keep up your fighting spirit Fukushima! It is my sincerest wish that Fukushima recovers from the disaster as soon as possible, and I know there is a wonderful future waiting to meet us.
