I have had the privilege of living in this beautiful, bountiful and warm hearted prefecture for the past three years. When I first learned that I would be working in Fukushima, I tried to research my placement, only to find worrying images and articles about the 2011 disaster. But I'm glad that I came and saw for myself how it really is in Fukushima. I have been able to experience the beautiful nature, delicious food and rich history due to the kind heartedness of the local people. Be proud of your strength and perseverance which have brought you far in your recovery. Through your hard work, Fukushima will once be great again!
