When I was told that I would be living in Fukushima, my excitement to live in Japan did not change. I trusted that the JET Program would send me to a safe place.
Through experiences like the study tours, I now know that I was right not to worry about living in Fukushima. The food is thoroughly tested, and I often enjoy delicious local fruit, sake, meat, and so much more. The people are kind and every home and hotel I stay at in Fukushima is unlike a night anywhere else. Every day I see solar panels and am happy to say I live in a place working hard for the future of the planet.
Thank you for everything so far! Let’s continue to work hard for a great future, Fukushima!
