Fukushima Green Reconstruction Concept Overview

In Fukushima Prefecture, the number of users of natural parks dropped sharply due to the effects of the Great East Japan Earthquake that occurred in March 2011.
Even now, the situation is still less than 70% before the earthquake.
In order to further advance the steps toward the reconstruction of Fukushima, more people will realize the splendor of the natural environment of Fukushima Prefecture, and more people will realize it.
We need to move forward with efforts to pass it on to the next generation.

Under these circumstances, the Ministry of the Environment announced in August 2018 as one of the support policies "Fukushima Revitalization / Future-Oriented Project" for the new stage of Fukushima reconstruction.
We announced that we will support the reconstruction of Fukushima Green by utilizing natural resources in Fukushima Prefecture.

This concept is a joint effort between Fukushima Prefecture and the Ministry of the Environment to summarize the basic direction of efforts for the reconstruction of Fukushima Green.

With the concept of "protecting, polishing, connecting to the future. Blissful Fukushima"
❶ Improving the attractiveness of national parks and quasi-national parks
❷ Review of prefectural natural parks based on environmental changes (Survey and examination for incorporation of Tadami Yanaizu Prefectural Natural Park Parks into national parks)
❸ Creating a system for a wide tour of Fukushima Prefecture centered on national parks and quasi-national parks

By promoting efforts based on the above three pillars, we will promote proper use while conserving and harmonizing the natural environment, and expand the exchange population.
We aim to contribute to the reconstruction of Fukushima Prefecture as a whole.

In August of 2nd year of Reiwa, Fukushima Prefecture and the Ministry of the Environment signed a "Collaboration and Cooperation Agreement on Promotion of Future-Oriented Environmental Measures for the Reconstruction of Fukushima-Reconstruction of Fukushima from the Environment and a Hopeful Future". And
Promotion of future-oriented environmental measures through cooperation and cooperation has begun.
