Lake Hibara and Mt. Bandai from Nishi-Azuma Sky Valley, Tohachiyama Seven Bends

The 17.8km Nishi-Azuma Sky Valley that connects Lake Hibara and Shirabu Takayu Onsen in Yamagata Prefecture. It is a spectacular spot surrounded by the primeval beech forest where you can see magnificent and colorful autumn leaves. In the middle of the continuous hairpin curve, Lake Hibara and Mt. Bandai seen from the observatory of "Higashibachiyama Seven Curves" are a masterpiece. If you are lucky, you may be able to meet Mt. Bandai, which emerges from the sea of clouds over Lake Hibara.
