Tsuruga Castle Park from Obiguruwa

Tsuruga Castle (Aizuwakamatsu Castle), which is a symbol of Aizuwakamatsu City, is one of the stages of the "Boshin War" in which the old Shogunate army and the new government army fought. It was rebuilt to restore its appearance at the end of the Edo period, and in recent years it has been replaced with glazed red roof tiles. The obi-kaku is a great view point to look up at the stone wall and castle tower of "Nozura Tsumi" where natural stones are piled up.
