Mugenkyo boat crossing
A hand-held boat "Mugenkyo no Watashi" that crosses the Tadami River that runs through the border between Kaneyama Town and Mishima Town. Originally, it was revived for tourism so that residents could cross the opposite bank. The name comes from the fact that the valley surrounded by river fog is ephemeral and beautiful like a dream or illusion in the morning and evening of summer. The slow movement of the rowing ferry floating in the fog is like a fantastic painting. The view from the shore and the view from the ferry are superb. It is recommended to visit early in the morning or at dusk from June to August when river fog is likely to occur.
