Maezawa Village from Maezawa Observation Deck

It is a village designated as an important traditional buildings preservation district of the country, with a thatched roof and solid houses unique to heavy snowfall areas, in the form of an L-shaped integrated main house and horsehouse called "Kakuya". .. The view from Maesawa Observatory overlooking 19 traditional houses, including 13 musicians, conveys the original scenery of Japan. Since it snows in winter, we recommend that you prepare a snowshoe before visiting.
