To-no Hetsuri

"Hetsuri" is a dialect of Aizu, which means a cliff. It was named "To-no Hetsuri " because of the tower- shaped rock walls that the river and wind built over a million years. It is also designated as a national natural monument. A suspension bridge is hung on the rock surface, and you can see the inside of the cliff. The best season is spring when wisteria flowers bloom and autumn when the autumn leaves are colored.
