Mt. Bandai and Lake Inawashiro from Nekoma Happodai
It is a superb view point located on the mountain trail "Nekomadake Yamabiko Expedition Road" that leads to Nekomadake and Oguninuma from the Happodai rest area at the highest point of the Bandaisan Gold Line. The best time to see the autumn leaves in the beautiful beech forest is from early to mid-October. It is one of the few spots where you can get a panoramic view of Lake Inawashiro and the top of Mt. Bandai up close.
