Detection status of radioactive iodine and radioactive cesium
Results of regular monitoring have shown that there have been no detectable amounts of radioactive caesium or radioactive iodine in tap water since the 5th of May, 2011.
Note: While Kawauchi Village currently has no water supply, equipment to supply water is undergoing regular reviews. Tap water is currently unavailable in Futaba Town.
